Scale Type
Minor and Major show the 5 pentatonic shapes for that key. Blues (Pro) adds the b5 blue note and unlocks the dominant chord overlay.
Chord Pentatonic
Select a diatonic chord to overlay its pentatonic on the fretboard. Red = key notes, blue = chord notes, purple = shared (safe) notes.
Shape Navigation
Use the arrows to cycle through all 5 pentatonic shapes. The header shows which shape you're on for both the key and chord.
Blues Mode (Pro)
Blues adds the blue note (gold) to the scale: the b5 in minor pentatonic, the b3 in major pentatonic. Use it as a passing note between scale tones.
